MY WORK
Welcome to my portfolio. Here is a small glimpse into my mind and the things I love to create. Thanks for looking around!
FILM PRODUCTION
01
dance company commercial
During the Spring of 2025, I created a commercial for the dance company I teach at in Bloomington, IN. Throughout those few months, I was able to conduct many interviews and compile b-roll to accurately represent the studio. I am proud of the result and am excited to bring in new talent to the studio.
02
Coffee shop news package
As an intern at a news station in Chicago, I was given the opportunity to create my first news package. During this project, I learned all about the extensive pre-production process, went on-site to be the videographer and assistant producer, helped write the script, and edited together the package using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Seeing something I created from scratch on the television was so surreal and has truly inspired me as a film student. This story really spoke to me. It was a perfect combination between my major and minor (personal well-being). Finding a coffee shop that aligned with my values and then being given the opportunity to tell their story was a privilege.
03
meet the team
As a member and the social media coordinator for the IU RedStepper dance team, I was able to create a 'Meet the Team' video for the beginning of the 2023 season. This was an incredible opportunity for me to use my creativity to portray my team. I absolutely loved all aspects of this production, especially because I was surrounded by my best friends!
04
interview
My freshman year of college, I took a visual communications class where I first dipped my toes into interviewing and telling a story through media. This was a big stepping stone in my media career, because this is when I realized I loved to tell and create stories from behind the camera.
05
baptism event
When my cousin was baptized, I was drawn to creating a video that our family could look back on forever. This was the first time I had created a video for an event, and I believe this is when I realized I wanted to start my content creation business. I love to be able to create content that sparks emotions in the viewers. This is one of my favorite memories and I hope you love watching it through my lens!
06
wedding day recap
Enjoy taking a glimpse into Anna and Matt's wedding day. This was one of my first weddings, and every time I watch this video I get emotional. I can see so much improvement in each of my videos, but I know how special this video was to each member of their family. I am so lucky to have a job that allows me to make others feel so many happy emotions!
07
wedding day recap
This wedding day was extra special becasue I was able to share the content I shot throughout the day with a family member who could not be in attendance. Each video I shot was a smile on their face and a way for them to feel involved.
08
Wedding day recap
For Erin and Hayes' wedding day, I used lav-mics and liked that added feature. I enjoyed being able to add their voices to the video because it made it feel so much more personal. After this wedding, I invested in nicer microphones and added it as an add on for my wedding content packages!

AUDIO EDITING

During high school, I played around with song mixing a little bit and would mashup songs for my dance team. I would find songs I liked on youtube and then use Final Cut Pro to mash them together.
I took a Sound Design course as a junior at Indiana University. We were given a scene from the movie "Toy Story" and had to add in all aspects of sound to create an audio story for the video. From background noise, to sound effects, I was able to layer many audio tracks to create this scene! Audio is so important in film and this project was a great representation of that for me. Unfortunately due to copyright, I cannot link the video. But, this course allowed me to learn ProTools and Adobe Audition.
The dance studio I work at needed a mashup of songs to create an Inside Out themed dance. I went through each emotion, found audio clips of them talking, songs that made sense for their character, and edited it all together to create a story. I used Adobe Premiere Pro.
website customization
I was so excited to be hired for a project with Shannon Gail Events as a wedding website creator. I conversed with the couple to understand their interests and visions for their special day. I used their vision board to create a customized website that would match the rest of their wedding decor. In order to create an easy-to-use site for all family and friends, I made many linked buttons and kept the website very simple. I used WIX to create this custom site.
social media

For 4 years I managed the IU RedStepper dance team Instagram page. We were able to grow the page from 5,000 to almost 12k followers during that time. Over the years, I created a lot of content to keep our followers up to date, draw in new talent, and reach the community. We have build a strong presence on social media and have a very specific look/theme that people recognize. Attached above are some graphics and videos that I have put together over the years. I became efficient in using Canva and Premiere Pro to create these pieces.
Editing
My best friends, Catie, Morgan, and Jess, all made it to the finalist round for an NFL Cheer team!! To make it to in-person auditions, they needed to submit a 30 second social media video to introduce themselves. I feel as thought through each of these projects, I was able to show their personalities and make them stand out among a ton of amazing dancers.
